Bring Out The New You

Let’s go over a couple of things, remember we are stepping out of SEXY into MARVELOUS so bring out the new you.  Remember to dress to impress yourself.  Don’t Hang out with negative people, hang out with positive-thinking people. Meet new people make new friends, change ideas catch up with old friends. Go for a walk go to the library read a new book or one of the old ones, just dust it off it will look brand new.  Remember what marvelous stands for it’s about you.

When was the last time you splurged on yourself, buying new shoes or earrings or a top to go with that skirt or slacks you keep looking at in the closet, or new lipstick? You have been buying and buying for others for Christmas birthdays anniversaries and holidays that call for a gift but what about you? Don’t feel guilty about treating yourself to something new.

 Whether you are still working or retired you deserve to treat yourself and if you are still working now is the time to buy the things you want.

Please remember that wants and needs aren’t the same thing, so don’t deprive yourself of the needs, just so you can get the wants.

Remember that even though we are going to splurge a little or a lot we are still stepping out of sexy into marvelous. Old styles are becoming new again. Those styles that we wore when we were in our twenties and thirties are coming back, pull them out of their hiding place if you still have them, and if they still fit rock them but get rid of them if they don’t fit.  

Maybe you don’t need or want a new outfit but you want to get a cottage or a boat or a sofa think about it and talk to your family about it before you make big purchases. Please remember what effect if any it might have on members of your family when splurging. Even though this is about you, you must consider your family too because they are a part of the new you.
